Press on 1A is a curated feed of press releases from economics, technology, and research. We do not publish every incoming pitch. Only material that fits our editorial direction and meets our quality standards reaches the public. Everything we publish is clearly attributed, and where necessary, we add editorial context to explain its relevance or place it within a larger conversation.
Selection, not syndication
Press releases are source material. They come from companies, research institutions, government bodies, and other organizations seeking to share something with the world. A curated publication treats them differently than a wire service would. Our editors read submissions, fact-check claims, and decide whether each release belongs in 1A's ecosystem. We apply editorial judgment to every decision. This is the opposite of an unfiltered announcement feed. It is the result of active curation.
How to submit
Use our contact page to submit a release. We understand that press materials follow their own conventions and serve purposes beyond journalism. We respect the form while maintaining our editorial standards. Everything we publish gets full attribution and source transparency. Where it helps readers, we add editorial notes that clarify, contextualize, or explain the significance. Think of 1A's press channel not as a news wire, but as vetted institutional voices in conversation with each other and with our readers. Selection is the whole point.
