Let's Play: Lexy & K-Paul's club anthem

Lexy & K-Paul are Alexander Gerlach and Kai Michael Paul, a Berlin duo formed in 1999 and built on techno, trance, electro and house. Signed to Low Spirit Recordings during the label's peak years, they took an ECHO Award as the country's top new dance act in 2001, a year before this track appeared — proof the pair had already moved from newcomers to a fixture of Germany's club circuit.

Let's Play, featuring Atomek Dogg with vocals from Shad, was released on 18 March 2002 and later folded into the album East End Boys (2003). It reached number 26 on the German singles chart across nine weeks, backed by a handful of official mixes — a Lexy & K-Paul remix, a Lodown mix, an Autotune remix. This upload, shared by the fan channel Fräulein Bissig rather than the group's own account, runs 302 seconds — in the same five-minute range as the Original Mix pressed on the 2002 vinyl — and keeps that mix circulating outside the band's official channels.
